•Lean ground beef 1-1/4 pounds (90 percent lean)

•1 chopped tiny onion

•1/2 cup bread crumbs, seasoned

•1 teaspoon garlic powder

•1 tablespoon fresh thyme, oregano, and basil, minced

•1 and 1/2 teaspoons onion powder

•a half teaspoon of salt

•a quarter teaspoon pepper

•2 lbs ground beef

•1 teaspoon olive oil

•Warmed marinara sauce


•Remove the stems and seeds from the peppers and cut them in half lengthwise. Place aside. Combine the egg, carrot, bread crumbs, garlic powder, spices, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a big mixing cup. 

•Crumble the beef over the mixture and thoroughly pour it in. Rub with oil after spooning into pepper halves.

•Use a drip pan to prepare the grill for indirect heat. Place the peppers on top of the drip pan. Grill, wrapped, over indirect medium heat for 30-35 minutes, or until the beef is no longer pink and the peppers are tender. 

•Serve with marinara sauce on the side.

3.Braised Pork Loin Chops

Ingredients needed

•1 minced garlic clove 1 teaspoon rubbed sage

•1 teaspoon crushed dried rosemary

•a half teaspoon of salt

•1/8 tsp black pepper

•4 boneless pork loin chops (4 ounces each, 1/2 inch thick)

•1 tablespoon melted butter

•1 teaspoon olive oil

•a third of a cup of dry white wine or apple juice

•1 tbsp new parsley, minced


•Combine the first five ingredients then brush on all sides of the pork chops.

• Melt butter and oil in a big non-stick skillet over medium-high heat; brown chops on both sides. Take out of the tub.

•Bring wine to a boil in the same pan, stirring to loosen browned parts. Cook until the liquid is reduced to 1/2 cup, uncovered. 

•Return to a boil with the chops. 

•Reduce heat to low and cook, covered, for 6-8 minutes, or until pork is tender. Garnish with parsley.
