Crunchy Hawaiian Chicken Wrap

Ingredients:

  • Six whole wheat tortillas
  • ½ cup – broccoli slaw
  • 1 cup – spinach leaves chopped
  • ¼ cup crushed pineapple
  • 1 pound cooked chicken (cut into small pieces)
  • ¼ cup – mayonnaise
  • vinegar- ¼ cup
  • ¼ cup – sugar
  • 1 tsp. – poppy seeds
  • ½ tsp – garlic powder
  • onion powder- ½ tsp
  • ½ tsp – paprika

Direction:

First, prepare the dressing. For this mix, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Keep it in the fridge. Now mix broccoli, pineapple, and spinach. Place ½ cup of the broccoli, pineapple, spinach mixture on a wheat tortilla. Top it up with chicken pieces nicely. Add 1 tbsp. of dressing prepared earlier to each tortilla. You can even wrap the tortillas in burrito style and serve.

Fabulous French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 – egg
  • ¼ c –milk
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. – margarine
  • Two pieces of bread

Directions:

Beat the egg well in a bowl adding milk and vanilla extract to it. Make sure all these get mixed well. Heat a pan on the stove on medium flame and add margarine. Heat margarine until it starts bubbling. Dip the bread in the egg mixture. Check that is covered well in the mixture from all the sides. Cook the bread in the pan, flipping it from both sides until it gets brown. With the help of a spatula take out the cooked bread on a plate and serve.

Fun Fruit Kababs

Ingredients:

  • 1 – Apple
  • 1 – Banana
  • 1/3 c – red seedless grapes
  • 1/3 c – green seedless grapes
  • 2/3 cup – pineapple chunk
  • 1 cup – yogurt
  • ¼ c – dried and shredded coconut

Directions:

Wash the fruits well. Cut the grapes and apples in square pieces. Cut the banana into square chunks and do the same with pineapples also. After done with the cutting spread all the fruits on a plate. Take a skewer and arrange the fruits according to your choice and design. Keep sliding the fruit pieces until the skewer is covered with them appropriately. You can add or remove parts as per your wish. Now spread the coconut on a plate. Roll the skewer first in yogurt and then in coconut. Make sure the fruits get covered well in both the yogurt as well as coconut layer. Do the same with remaining skewers and enjoy.
